A few images from a photo session at Pets Park in Kenosha County. This is just a little evidence of how much rain the county really received this week. If you should happen to stumble upon this site and need assistance with flooding there are some great resources at the Kenosha County UW-Extension home page.

Bridge of the Xeris

Just a shot of the bridge from the Xeris (the main spaceship). I know that right now its not much, but its a compost; its created simply as a guide to help establish in which direction the pencils are headed. It was created with a free 3D software suit called Blender. I’d recommend checking it out if your at all interested in CG. It has features that you would expect to find in the likes of Maya or 3D studio Max.

So, I’m currently in the middle of inking the 7th of 12 comic strips that I hope to have complete before I change the layout of the site and start posting. Though I have yet to come up with a name for the comic yet. Keep an eye out, when its ready it will start on a Tuesday or a Thursday and will be updated on those days weekly.

This is a lesson that I have learned the hard way over the past few days. I have spent all of my time at the Parkside Communication Arts Gallery preparing the Student Art Show. I was not completely alone in setting up this show though, lucky for me I had a few friends who were dedicated enough to put in some long hours collecting work and sorting though the endless stacks for insurance forms. Although, there were plenty of hard learned lessons, over all it has been worthwhile. Next time that I put on a show, wherever it should be, there is a lot of tricks and things that I now know that will make the experience a thousand times easier. Now if I only had some time to study for art history…
