Just a shot of the bridge from the Xeris (the main spaceship). I know that right now its not much, but its a compost; its created simply as a guide to help establish in which direction the pencils are headed. It was created with a free 3D software suit called Blender. I’d recommend checking it out if your at all interested in CG. It has features that you would expect to find in the likes of Maya or 3D studio Max.

#11 is finished and I’m currently working on #12. That is the final comic that I plan to have finished before I start posting them here. I’d say by tuesday or thursday it should be up and running (twice a week, in case I forgot to mention…) Of course, I still have to prep the new theme so that the comic will post correctly.

So, I’m currently in the middle of inking the 7th of 12 comic strips that I hope to have complete before I change the layout of the site and start posting. Though I have yet to come up with a name for the comic yet. Keep an eye out, when its ready it will start on a Tuesday or a Thursday and will be updated on those days weekly.

We’re currently working on making some changes to the site, so if there are some things that seem to not be working check back later and they should be back online.

Ah, the glorious day is here at last. ACEN ‘08 is upon us and it is hard to believe that it has been a year already since the last trip. I hope that I will be able to keep the site updated (at least for this event) with some pictures and post about whats going on; but, as of right now I’m sitting at the kitchen table, waiting for Justin. Hmm, if there was one equation that I remember from my numerous algebra exploits it is this: early mornings = evil.

An important aspect of preparing any type of art show is to find a location that you would like to live in for about a week; because in all seriousness that is about the length of time that it will take you to jury, hang and make it ready for an opening. This is a lesson that I have learned the hard way over the past few days. I have spent all of my time at the Parkside Communication Arts Gallery preparing the Student Art Show. I was not completely alone in setting up this show though, lucky for me I had a few friends who were dedicated enough to put in some long hours collecting work and sorting though the endless stacks for insurance forms. Although, there were plenty of hard learned lessons, over all it has been worthwhile. Next time that I put on a show, wherever it should be, there is a lot of tricks and things that I now know that will make the experience a thousand times easier. Now if I only had some time to study for art history…

…are a great time for an update!
There are a few new things (try to ignore the non-working thumbnails, no time to figure it out; finals week remember?) mostly from the Indy Study. If anyone is actually reading this then I’m glad to inform you that ArtWorks is having the another Comic Jam! The D-Day is December 29th. This one is not going to shoot for a 24 hour comic like last time. Rather, the 29th is the day that people can come and work/hangout at the store. There is a small fee involved this time to help pay for the cost of printing, but hey they are also providing lunch! They should have registration info on their site so check it out! Anyway, thats it. Back to studying…

Many things have been going on although the site may not reflect it. All of the pages of the 24 hour comic have been completed and currently the proofs are being proofed. Any one who read 16 hours to live (the few of that there are, and even fewer that know this site exist) will be excited to hear the the script for part 2 has been completed and part 3 is in the works. Also I’m working on a side project, something more on the philosophical side, I don’t really know where to place it but 6 pages have been completed so I think that I’ll put it on the site. Hopefully I can get the site up to date with all thats been going on. Until then I’ll try to post updates about the progress on 16 hours to live.
